Is France’s First Lady Actually a Man? Candace Owens Weighs In… Brigitte Macron

Daily Wire host Candace Owens fully embraced the far-right conspiracy theory that France’s first lady, Brigitte Macron, is a man – going so far as to say she would stake her reputation on it.

Owens, known for her bombastic and attention-grabbing claims, dedicated much of her Monday show to the topic, which she labeled “The BIGGEST Political Scandal In Human History.” Owens has nearly 3 million followers on YouTube and has one of the top-rated “news” podcasts in the United States – landing at #6 on the most recent Spotify chart.

“This episode is blowing up so I just want to say—after looking into this, I would stake my entire professional reputation on the fact that Brigitte Macron is in fact a man. Any journalist or publication that is trying to dismiss this plausibility is immediately identifiable as establishment,” Owens wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday, promoting her show, adding:

French President Emmanuel Macron hit back at the transphobic rumors regarding his wife, saying, “The worst thing is the false information and fabricated scenarios.”

“People eventually believe them and disturb you, even in your intimacy,” he added at an International Women’s Day event in Paris Friday.

Brigitte Macron’s biological daughter, who the New York Post described as a “lookalike” to highlight the absurdity of the conspiracy theory, also weighed in on the claims. Brigitte Macron has three children with her first husband.

Tiphaine Auzaine, 40, told Paris Match last month, “I have concerns about the level of society when I hear what is circulating on social networks about my mother being a man.”

“The confidence of what is affirmed and the credit given to what is proclaimed. Anyone can say anything about anyone, and it takes time to get it taken down,” she concluded.

Owens has a long history of attacking the LGBTQ community and has publicly called for “more” discrimination against the transgender community. YouTube suspended her account in September of 2023 for hate speech.
