Hotel Recommendations Within a 5-6 Minute Walk to Soi Cowboy

I understand the list above may seem extensive, so to simplify your decision-making process, I’ll provide three recommendations across different price ranges. If you prefer accommodation within a 6-minute walk of Soi Cowboy, here are my recommended guest-friendly hotels. These suggestions are based on my firsthand experiences and feedback from other guests, covering budget-friendly, mid-range, and luxury options to cater to every budget.

My first recommendation is The Sukhumvit Suites Hotel, the nearest guest-friendly hotel to Soi Cowboy and my favorite choice for budget-friendly accommodations in the area. Located on Sukhumvit Road at the corner of Soi 21, it is just a 2-minute walk to Soi Cowboy.

While it doesn’t have a pool, it has free wifi in all rooms, laundry service, luggage storage, airport transfer and a bar & coffee shop on the premises. This hotel boasts high guest approval ratings and offers modern, comfortable, and clean accommodations. It’s also just a 2-minute walk to the Asok BTS and MRT subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city.

This hotel provides incredible value for the money and many guests make return visits. One of the main reasons is it’s guest friendly policy – they have no joiner fees for guests. So, if you meet someone at Soi Cowboy, you can bring her back to your hotel room without worry. The staff are very much aware of guests bringing “Soi Cowboy girls” to their rooms. The only stipulation is that she will need to leave her ID card with reception. This is for your own protection and a normal practise for hotels that are guest friendly.

My second recommendation is Jasmine City Hotel and it’s just a 3-minute walk to Soi Cowboy. Conveniently located on Soi 23, you simply need to walk up the street and turn left onto Soi Cowboy—minimal effort required!

This 4-star hotel is moderately priced, ranging from $82 to $162 per night. Rates can vary based on room selection and seasonal fluctuations. Its impressive guest rating of 8.3 out of 10 highlights how much people enjoy staying here. This hotel has a beautiful outdoor pool, valet parking, free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, airport transfer and a fitness center. It also has a 24-hour front desk so if you arrive late, check in is no problem.

The Jasmine City Hotel caters to solo travelers and has no issues with guests bringing companions from Soi Cowboy to their room overnight. Your guests will need to register with an ID card or passport at the front desk before being allowed into your room. There are no joiner fees at all and this has been comfirmed with management.

My third recommendation within a 6 minute walk to Soi Cowboy is The Westin Grande Sukhumvit. It’s located on Soi 19, across from the Terminal 21 shopping mall and just 4 minute walk to Asok BTS Skytrain and the MRT subway system making it easy to get around Bangkok. Soi Cowboy is just 6 minutes from the hotel by foot.

This 5-star hotel offers rooms ranging from $189 to $348 USD, depending on the room type—there are 8 different options to choose from. It boasts an excellent guest rating of 8.7 out of 10. It has a wonderful rooftop pool with a hot tub, fitness center, free wifi in all rooms, free parking, airport transfer and shuttle service and 24-hour front desk.

The Westin Grande Sukhumvit’s reception is well aware of it’s close proximity so Soi Cowboy. Staff has no problem with you bringing a guest you met from Soi Cowboy to your hotel room and you won’t need to pay a joiner fee. I stayed here a couple of times and absolutely loved it. I didn’t have to pay a joiner and I’ve also contacted the hotel again recently and confirmed they are 100% guest friendly.

Hotel Recommendations Within a 7 to 10 Minute Walk to Soi Cowboy

These next set of hotels are my recommendations within a 7 to 10 minute walk to and from Soi Cowboy. I have verified these are all guest friendly and have stayed at all of them at least once. While there, I was able to bring a guest to my room without having to pay a joiner fee. They do require your guest to register with security or the front desk before going to your room though. This is for your own safety. Here I offer 3 choices from 3, 4, and 5 star hotels suitable for everyones budget.

Just a 7-minute walk to and from Soi Cowboy, Red Planet is my top recommendation for those on a budget. It’s located on Sukhumvit 14 alley which is also just a few minutes away from Asok BTS Skytrain and the MRT Subway system.

This 3-star hotel starts at just $29 – $35 USD per night. It does not have a pool but has free parking, free wifi in all rooms, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and 24-hour front desk. Guests love staying here, as reflected in the high reviews of 8.0 out of 10.

The rooms are comfortable but not huge and the staff is super friendly. I’ve had several comfortable stays at this hotel, during some of which I brought a guest I met from Soi Cowboy to stay overnight. She had no problems getting in my room and just had to leave her ID at the front. And yes, it did not cost me extra as they have a guest friendly policy.

My second recommendation that falls within a 7 to 10 minute walk to Soi Cowboy with a mid-range price is the Maitria Hotel. It’s located on Soi 18 and is just a 9 minute walk to Soi Cowboy. The Asok BTS and MRT subway system is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

This 4 star hotel’s price range is from $73-$200 with 9 room types and many different offers to suit your budget. I loved the rooftop pool with the beautiful views of the city – a great place to bring your guest! With it’s high customer satisfaction rating of 8.6 out of 10 and my own great experience with this hotel it has my recommendation for a mid-priced hotel near Soi Cowboy.

The hotel staff is accustomed to guests bringing companions they meet at Soi Cowboy to their rooms and does not charge any additional joiner fees. I personally verified this during my stay, and I also called the hotel to confirm they remain guest-friendly.

My third recommendation within a 7 to 10 minute walk to Soi Cowboy in the luxurious, 5 star range is the Carlton Hotel. The Carlton hotel is located right on Sukhumvit Rd. To get to Soi Cowboy, you just need to walk down Sukhumvit, walk right onto Soi 21 and you’ll be there in just 7 minutes. The Asok BTS and MRT subway is just 8 minutes from the hotel.

The Carlton Hotel has an exceptional rating of 9.2 out of 10 from guests that have stayed there. I have stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions and can tell you it’s super luxurious and is a wonderful stay if you don’t mind paying the money. The hotel has an awesome pool, valet parking, spa, fitness center, free wifi in all rooms, 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.

This is a guest friendly hotel and the staff are used to guests bringing other guests from Soi Cowboy to stay with you. There is no joiner fee for your guests. It’s been a while since I stayed there so I contacted the hotel recently to get an update on their guest friendly policy: “We are delighted to inform you regarding our joiner policy that there will not be extra charge for the joiner but it would be appreciated if the joiner can present his or her ID Card at our Front Desk for the guest’s security reason.” Waranya P.
