Romanian authorities conducted fresh raids at the home of controversial influencer Andrew Tate on Wednesday as part of a new investigation into allegations involving the trafficking of minors, human trafficking, sexual intercourse with a minor, influencing statements, and money laundering. This comes as Tate and his brother Tristan await trial on existing charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to exploit women, which they deny.
The raids, carried out by Romania’s anti-organized crime agency DIICOT, involved searches at four homes in Bucharest and Ilfov County. Tate’s spokesperson confirmed the raids, noting that the legal team was present to ensure procedural correctness. He added that “although the charges in the search warrant are not yet fully clarified, they include suspicions of human trafficking and money laundering.”
Despite the new allegations, the brothers maintain their innocence, and no trial date has been set for the existing charges.
